I'm Lucky Star!
Teresa (of the Faint Smile)

Number: 1

Type: Offensive.

Special Moves: Superior fighting skills and yoki reading.

Personality: Dispassionate, businesslike.

Notes: Regarded as the mightest Claymore ever, Teresa was renowned for her ability to defeat virtually any foe without releasing her yoki. Though other Claymores excelled beyond her in certain disciplines, no one was a match for her because of her unparalleled skill and power and her ability to read the flow of yoki and use that to outmaneuver opponents. She saved a young Clare from yoma and, despite her initial resistance, eventually formed a close mother/daughter type of bond with her.

Episode of First Appearance: 5
English VA: Christine Auten
Japanese VA: Romi Park

(Quick Sword) Ilena/Irene*

Number: 2 (later 3)

Type: Offensive.

Special Move: Flash Sword (lightning-fast sword strokes).

Personality: Practical, level-headed.

Notes: Originally a #2, she was demoted one step upon Priscilla’s entrance into the ranks. She was the effective leader of the team sent to deal with Teresa when she went rogue and one of two Claymores in the past story arc to also play a significant role in the present story arc.

Episode of First Appearance: 7
English VA: Wendy Powell
Japanese VA: Minami Takayama

* - Funimation's translation consistently uses "Ilena" in the episodes but both versions of the name in the credits.

*****

Priscilla

Number: 2

Type: Uncertain.

Special Moves: Superior ability to hide her yoki and defeat opponents without releasing her powers.

Personality:Emotional, dedicated, easily agitated.

Notes: Though a fledgling by Claymore standards and one of the youngest Claymores, she earned the #2 ranking over Irene because of her ability to defeat most foes without powering up and an enormous potential which Irene believed, in time, would even exceed Teresa’s. Unquestionably the most unstable of all the Claymores shown in the series, she has an especially ugly past history with yoma which has led to an unparalleled hatred of yoma and no tolerance for those who don’t stay true to the organization. She also appears in the present time line, albeit with a vastly different appearance.
